Creative week!

During the last days felt very creative, so it fit well, that the last week was
almost completely dedicated to writing.
There was an article and the script for an e-casting-video as well, but my
actual project is the conception and for a new comedy-web-series, which shall be
on air in the second half of this year. I am the head writer for character development
and for the scripts. The working title is “FunZone”, but it will surely be changed.

It is a very crazy project, what I really love and I will also be in there as an actress
in a leading role, which I love even more. (Because I normally only write stuff for
other people, when I ´m involved as actress. When I feel so happy with some
written stuff, I can´t wait to perform it and to shot it).

I am very free in the creation of the characters and the stories and there seem to
be no boarders in craziness. Perfect circumstances to work ;)
Yesterday I was writing the whole night again (lying on my sofa, eating chocolate
cream and drinking damn lot of green tea).

For this project I am working together with a young director and author who has been
a close friend of mine for years. His name is Seppo and I can honestly say, that there
is no second person with such a sick and strange humour. He is also the most chaotic
person on this planet, but that is another story. I love working with him and we´ve had
some long conference calls this week. The impulses from him are very inspiring to me.

Last night I completed the conception of four characters, before I fell into bed.
It was so much fun, because some of them are really close to me. That makes it easy
to set up the character descriptions and to find the fitting stories for them later.

Stupidly I mustn´t tell any details right now, because it is still “top secret”,
but I really love this project and I can´t wait to tell you more :)

For the weekend I will travel to the north, to Hannover, because one of my favourite hippie-aunts is throwing a big party for her birthday. It is always very nice and very special, when my big hippie-family comes together. I´m looking forward to two
great family days! And of course I´m gonna take all my scripts and stuff for the
web-series with me, so that I can keep on writing in the train.
Wish you all a great weekend, too :)

Love!

Back in Comedy business!

I haven´t written something here for a while. The last weeks were quite busy
and there happened a lot:

Sadly one of my favourite projects went to waste. I was really sad about that.
But this “hole” has already been filled with two great new projects that rose at the
same time. Now I´m lookinng forward to a comedy-web series and a new
music-Web-TV-production.
In addition to that there are waiting some cool jobs as host (including really exciting
band interviews) and some film projects. And this week will be the dubbing session for
the cinema production that we shot in Greek last summer.

The whole hosting thing went well. I really enjoyed my jobs as music host and reporter!
In march I had an interview with the promising young band INSIDE MELINA (www.insidemelina.com) at “The Dome 61” in Wiesbaden. These five talented and funny musicians were doing their first TV-gig by playing the beautiful song “Nowhere to go”.
Thank you for the interview, guys!
It was also my first interview with the new camera (which is a lot less crappy then the
old one ;) And we also build up a new youtube channel where you can find all the videos! Check out the MusicInterviewCorner!

Now I just came home from a very cool comedy gig in Bonn (in an English show called
“F.C.I.K. me - it´s comedy”).
This was actually my first comedy gig in 2012. It was a great night and I realized how
much I missed it. Due to hosting and acting jobs there was just no time for comedy.
But I really want to do more gigs now!

It was the whole thing: Preparing my stuff for the show, putting new ideas and gags into
the routine and driving to the club together with a comedian colleague from Cologne (Christiane, who did great tonight).

Before that I was a bit nervous, when I tried on my pink stage clothes again.
I have this box (this very big box) with all my stage clothes, which are mostly pink ;)
For this special day I also let print a slogan on one of my favourite pink stage-shirts,
which I planned to do for a while. It says “Fantasy Records must die”.
Thanks to the lovely girl in the copyshop, who managed to do it so fast! I love my new shirt! But I certainly won´t wear it for my work as music host.… Or maybe I will ;)

The club “Der Goldene Engel” was sold out and the audience was super fine!!!
It felt so great to stand in front of this very cool people in this stylish little club.
Together with my very funny and talented colleagues.
And it has also been quite a while since I did a show in English. It´s soo cool to play
in English. To me it´s just so much more funny for me to say bad things in a language
which is not your mother´s tongue. My Finnish friends know what I´m talking about ;).
And English seems to be the perfect language for comedy. The harder jokes are still hard,
but somehow acceptable and still funny.

Today I did one of my routines with a religious topic, which I wrote during my time at the university (when I studied theology a bit). It is about the Bible and Free Love.
Maybe I should mention here, that faith is a matter of heart for me. But it is also great
to do comedy about the topic religion, maybe exactly for this reason… I already did an older version of this routine at the “Kirchentag” in Hannover in the past.

It was a special show today, because it was ALL LADIES NIGHT. There were only
women on stage: Christiane Olivier, Lois Bromfield, Dot Fagan, Petra Pansen and me ;)
- okay and our dear Felix Ruetz disguised as “Lola”…
And it was a great to see the performance of Lois Bromfield from Florida, who is very
famous in the USA and who has been our headliner tonight.

The only man on stage was our host, Mr. Andy Valvur, whom I know from several gigs.
We used to call him “Mr. Charming” – for a reason. I love Andy also for a special joke
which he did on a show last summer, when we were playing in the same place in front of a very small audience. He said “If you don´t laugh now, I will set my d*** on fire and run against the wall.” And in this situation it was really damn funny ;)

Tonight it felt sooo good to stand in front of this great audience and to try out some new jokes. It was very spontaneous, because some ideas just came today and I improved quite
a lot – not only because I lost the paper with the rearranged routine somewhere on the way.
It worked and it was just super fun!
I felt high like drugged afterwards and I realized how much I missed comedy live gigs!!!

It was also cool to meet all the people again, American, British and German comedians.
With most of them I´ve been doing gigs together for three years now.
After the show it became a quite long night in the club, because we haven´t seen
each other for a while ;)

Anyway, it feels sooo good to be back in Comedy business! And I can´t wait for the next gig! Luckily there are already some festival gigs for the summer planned.

A video of this F.C.I.K-show will be published here very soon!

Love and free hugs!

Paris

February was a bit stressy and very eventful.
I was at the "Berlinale", I´ve met with several agencies, I´ve found a great
management, I did a shooting in Paris and I have interviewed two Finnish bands,
who are celebrating a birthday (WALTARI, 25 years & SUNRISE AVENUE, 10 years).

Now February is almost over & I'm sitting on a bench at Champs-Elysees in the
evening sun. In my hotel room I´ve just signed the contract with "International Actors"
& sent it on its journey to Berlin.
I love Paris. Somehow this city makes me so sentimental, because I spent a big part of
my childhood in here. Regarding this my French should be a lot better ;)
Most of the time I spent with my parents in Montmartre and Porte de Clignancourt
(of which I thought as 3-year-old girl, that it was Africa).

Last Saturday I met the Finnish rock band WALTARI, who celebrated their 25th
anniversary in 2011, in Cologne´s "Underground" club for an interview.
In the dim light of the backstage area was even the whole band answering my questions.
The video is a bit dark, but very amusing ;) Because Kärtsy, Sami, Jari, Mika & Ville
not only told me, why they like the writer Mika Waltari so much, but also initiated me
into the internal sound-check rituals of the band. Paljon kiitoksia WALTARI ja Pekka!

Immediately after the sold-out concert, I jumped at the Thalys train to Paris.
Because on Sunday started here the shooting for a festivalfilm of a young French-
German director, in which I am playing one of the leads. Unfortunately I´m not
allowed to reveal any details, but the atmosphere of the shortmovie reminds me a bit
of "Don´t Look Now". And Paris is such a great location for a shooting!

Yesterday arose spontaneously another report for "das-Musikmagazin.de":
The band SUNRISE AVENUE, which I was already allowed to interview at the
“Coke Sound Up” in October, played their first concert in France in a small but
very cool venue in Eastern Paris.
And before the gig frontman Samu Haber took the time to give me an interview again.
Despite the tight schedule he told me on the terrace of "La Maroquinerie" about the
10th anniversary of the band, the best experiences during this time & the new live DVD.
Kiitos ajastasi :)
Afterwards in the concert SUNRISE AVENUE proved without any doubt, that they can
rock a small club with the same energy as a huge music festival.

I´ll stay in the city of love for the shooting until end of this week. And when I´m
back in Cologne, we´ll start with the editing and postproduction of these two
interview videos & articles - so that you can see it soon at www.das-Musikmagazin.de!

From Paris with Love!

Helsinki in winter (loskapaska)

I hope you all had a great new year´s night!
The translation of the two filmscripts is finished now and I´m back in Cologne.
The work with my Finnish friend and colleague was, as expected, very funny.
Such as the new year´s night party in Helsinki. (I don´t want to be too intimate,
but there was an ABBA dance contest and great fireworks at Senaatintori…)

So this was my first winter in Helsinki.
My two beautiful ski dresses had to stay in the suitcase all the time, because this
is the warmest Finnish winter since 50 years. Instead of minus 30 °C plus 5 °C and
instead of winterwonderland grey snow slush everywhere. The Finns call it nicely
“loskapaska”, which means something like dirt-crap. – This was the first new word I
learned this time. But I love Helsinki, even when it´s filled up with loskapaska…

And there was still this “ice and snow”-photoshoot on the schedule, which had to be postponed again and again, because there was no ice and snow.
On my last day there the snow fortunately came and it looked marvellous!!!
Our outdoor location was the Senaatintori with the beautiful Tuomiokirkko in the heart
of the city.
Behind the camera the photographer Annika Miettinen and in front of it me with
much too thin clothes. And it was really fun, nevertheless it was damn cold.
Now I was kind of happy that the minus 30°C didn´t come this winter ;)

But it was only hard for the first few minutes, you get used to the cold quite quick.
And our photo motives included also a lot of jumps. So I really got a bit sweaty at a temperature of minus 7 °C, when I jumped up and down along the stairs of the
Tuomiokirkko in my summer clothes. A very interesting experience by the way…

After 3 hours we had everything shot and I could have my winter jacket back.
Thank you very much for the great shooting, Annika!!
I´m so excited to see the pictures (and you can see here also very soon)!

As a reward I got a hot vanilla tea from my best friend and a DVD-box from
Stockmann (Pasila season 3).

Love!

Happy New Year and greetings from Finland

A turbulent and very exciting year is almost over now and I want to say hello
once again from Finland.
Because some interesting projects lead me here again, I take the opportunity to
celebrate New Year's Eve with friends in this beautiful city called Helsinki.
I've bought a skisuit, because I´ve never been there in the winter and my friends
said that last year at this time the temperature was - 30 ° C…
Right now we have - 3 ° C, but let´s see ;)

After I only translated my interviews from Danish and Finnish into German so far,
I´m gonna translate two screenplays now. A few days ago the film dubbing company
"PPA Film" from Munich gave me mission to translate the dialogues of two filmscripts.
A really cool job for a fan of Scandinavian cinema like me :) Especially since both scripts contain quite a lot of bad words... I always knew that this "expertise" would be useful
for something someday ;)

The Danish movie is called SORTE KUGLER and will be published on DVD in Germany as
"What Goes Around".
The translation of the Finnish TV-thriller NDA - SALASSAPITOSOPIMUS (German title
"Deadly Cell") will I do together with a native friend who works at the University of
Helsinki. I´m really looking forward to this, because I know from the past that this
cooperation will be very funny ;)

In the first week of January there will be a photoshooting in addition to the translation
work, in which I ´ll be in front of the camera of a very talented Finnish photographer.
Maybe even in a skisuit ;) I'm very excited!

But now I want to say a very big THANK YOU to all the great colleagues with whom
I could work together this year and to all friends and people who have supported us!!
Greetings from Helsinki to all you people out there, may you have a great start into
the year 2012!!!

Interview with "Volbeat" online!

Today the interview with Jon Larsen of "Volbeat" went online!
You´ll get the article at www.das-musikmagazin.de.
And the video with English subs at my youtube-chanel.

Have fun!

Metal Experience (Volbeat)

I've never been to a metal concert so far. But there's a first time for everything
(as I have already learned from the doorman).
I've also never been reporting for a music magazine so far...
And since the 2nd of november I do this for "das-Musikmagazin.de". And I my first job
took me to in Oberhausen today to the concert of the Danish band "Volbeat".
Now I´m sitting in the König-Pilsner-Arena writing this blog, inspired by the basses of
the opening act Clutch (which incidentally are so intense that my handbay still vibrates
at the bar in the foyer).

The best of the day was for me the interview with the Volbeat-drummer Jon Larsen,
which we recorded in the afternoon. In Danish, of course;)
And although Danish is almost my second mother tongue and I've already shot movies
several times in Danish, that was actually my first Danish interview.
Jon was nice and the interview was very interesting. The current tour and the brand
new live-DVD were only two of our topics.
You can read it in a few days at www.the-musikmagazin.de & the video is also coming
very soon! (When the subtitles are done;)

It's fun here:
The atmosphere here is really good and Volbeat is just playing the metal version of a
Johnny Cash song :) I also realized that many metal fans have a rough, but very warm
manner

A very interesting experience!
Thanks to Jon, tour manager Jeff an my chief-editor Benny:)

21TV - Blinddate-Interview on Coke Light

I'm just coming from the studio of the show "21TV" in Cologne-Ehrenfeld.
After I interviewed a lot bands & directors, this time I was on the other side of the
microphone, because tonight I was invited for an interview. A live broadcasting.

Complicating factor was that I am still ill. Although I decided not to celebrate Halloween.
Even though I easily could have gone to party as a vampire or junkie - without make-up;)
That I've slept about 16 hours the last night, has helped a bit at least. After all, my voice made it til the end of theshow.
And I would like to thank the company "Maybelline" for this great concealer, which allows
you to hide any form of dark circles under the eyes. The rest I tried to compensate with
a bottle of coke light.
Not the best idea of my life ...

The request for the show came quite spontaneously and the entire organization can
also be described as "spontaneous". So I felt like being on the way to a blind date,
when I drove to the studio.

Luckily it turned out to be a very nice blind date:)
The host-duo Patrick & Gina was really refreshing and nice.
And such a spontaneous flow of a show has its advantages, too.
After I started my presentation by falling over the phone line, it went on quite funny.
And besides the discussions about my current favorite projects, like the TV-comedy pilot "Mackenhorst" and the very fresh collaboration with "the-musikmagazin.de" I also had the opportunity to talk about of my "new friend" the doorman…
My comedy gig on this show went well. This works happily in my sleep. Only this:
Today my condom routine found a much better resonance than at the "Health Media Award"-celebartion;) There I had advised the organizer better to take a another of my routines, but he wouldn´t listen. So there were not every guest enjoyed it...
Unlike today: The "21" in "21TV" stands for the voluntary self-regulation rate ;)

Thanks to the great team in front the camera and behind it!
Although it was difficult for me sometimes to concentrate myself fully, it was really fun.
And I like to come back again.

I think I was not only at a bit clumsy, but also a little too honest. Well, at least it was authentic:) And it had an entertainment value, too.
Oh, and the phone is still intact ;) We even could received phone call from our colleagues
at the "European Music Award" in Belfast. They couldn´t hear us, but that the reason was
the Belfast line;)

And now I know: Coke light is not a solution. I wonder, if the interview would have been
a bit different with less fever and less Coke light...
Maybe not;)

For all those who haven´t seen it live today, there will be a video soon.
Whether and how much this video will be censored, I'll decide, when I´m in full
possession of my physical and mental abilities again ;)

Best wishes & good night
Kati

"Voll im Leben"

Probably You know shows like "Mitten im Leben" and "We Are Family". Unfortunately.
Because these docu-fiction-stuff which a broadcasted by some German private channels,
hits you, whenever you dare turn on the TV between 13h and 18h.

That's why I didn´t hesitate when there was the request to play a role in a
comedy production that make fun of these scripted reality shows.
"Voll im Leben" is the title of this new webseries of the company "SceneTake".
I already know SceneTake-team from other productions. Since we have worked for
the pilot of the TV-action-comedy "NoBudget" in 2010, in which I play the role of a hot
but stupid makeup artist, SceneTake-guys call me, when they need an actress for
characters who are "sexy, stupid and cheap" ;)

"Voll im Leben" tells (like the original show) about families with social and financial
problems: The teenage son of the overweight housewife Adelheid and the 40-year-old
early retiree Bernd wants to drop the school to become a model and actor. My part
was the figure of the hot Russian cleaning girl Olga, who tries to start a sex affair with
Bernd to escape from deportation in her hoemcountry.

The shooting was (as expected ;) very funny, especially because the script gave us
plenty of room for improvisation.
In addition to the reunion with my colleagues Lars, Daniel, Fabian, Ralf & Tino
it pleased me to work again with the SceneTake-home stylist Julia, who managed once
again to turn the sleepy ducklings into an Eastern European swan ;) Thank you, Julia:)
I think the biggest challenge of this shooting was not for all of us, not to burst into laughter while recording, when watching the crazy improvisations of their colleagues.
We actually had to repeat a few takes because of that ;)

The result will be published end of this year.
But beware: It is extremely trashy. There were no stereotypes of bad taste left.
A parody issupposed to be still more extreme than the original. And since you have
such original you have to go pretty far down...

Love
Kati

P.S.: You are a beautiful woman, Daniel!

"The Master of the Door"

In generell this blog is meant to report about my filmjobs and hosting adventures.
But because I´m working for some cool acting and hosting projects, I´m not allowed
to talk about yet, I´m gonna write about something different today:

As actress or host I would never write something like that, but fortunately I´m also
a Stand-up Comedian ;)

And today I like to give you a closer look to the process of developing a new comedy routine. So here comes the answer to the question "How can a real happening become
a part of a stand-up comedy show"?

There´s a frist time for everything.
I live in Cologne now for more than four years and I love this city! And it never
happened to me that my friends and me, where not allowed to enter a club.
- Until today.

It was a uncommon warm october evening when I was around the Belgian Quarter
with my friends. The mood was fine and we were on the way to my favourite club.
The club I mean is located at Hohenzollernring and named after its house number.
It seems to be very cozy, because the entrance area is always filled with the shine
of pink neon lights.

Some musicians who are friends of mine invited us to their gig, which should take place
in this club where I spend a lot of time during this summer.
- Until today.
Because today there was a doorman.
When he looked at us and said: "That´s not a party for students", I thought he was
joking. Because I really met some doorman with charme and humour in the past.
This man is definitely not one of those. When I started to laugh and asked him, if he
was kidding, he couldn´t laugh with me.

And when I explained, that I used to come here and that we were invited by the band,
his voice suddenly turned to sound very aggressive.
But it went to be even more comical:

Even after one of the musicians came out and tell him, that we´re welcome,
this doorman raised his voice against him, too: "NO means NO".

But our "friend from the door" seems to have a little change of mind for opportunistic reasons. After my musician-fellow said, that we will talk to the club-manager "The Master of the Door" suddenly agreed to let two of us in. Now our sneakers were suddenly good enough for him. – But not on all of us. Strange… Such a thing never happend to me.
- Until today.

But the story goes on:
We didn´t want to go in this club anymore - but we still wanted to see the concert.
And because the band was talking to the manager (Sorry for the circumstances, guys!)
we waited for the "big decision".

So we sat down at one of the tables near the entrance.
And after we sat there for about 10 minutes, "The Master of the Door" seemed to have longing for us. He came over and said: "Leave! It looks like shit who you are sitting here".
(I only write this details to show you, that you don´t have to exaggerate to write a comedy routine. Sometimes the truth is more than enough).

Because my parents were hippies, I learned a lot about tolerance and peaceful resistance. So I wanted to stay there now even more. Just like Gandhi! ;)
Only because one of my friends felt uncomfortable with this, we went over to a bench.

It´s not a surprise that "The Master of the Door"´s heart stayed hard as stone,
even when the band manager came out and talked to him.
It must be really a big thing to carry the responsibility for the door of a club with
pink neon lights…

At least I know that my fellow musicians did a great concert & that the guest had fun
(if they were let in).

Of course I don´t want to discriminate all doormen in the world.
Due to jobs at music festivals I met several members of this profession. And there are
quite sympathetic persons of these species.
Therefore, I also know that it is possible to do this job in a reasonable, respectful manner.
When I was hosting at "Kieler Woche" in June, on my second night I was stopped by
two security guys on my way to the backstage area, because they thought I was a
groupie of the band "Contra Crash". Of course, this was solved very quickly. I know that
I look very young without make-up...
But the point is that these two were friendly after all.
There you can learn a lot, Mr. bouncer.

And just to note that: we were not dressed like shit. There are even party photos to
prove it;) A couple of them we have done Hohenzollernring. When these images were shot,
our "friend of the door" had his best performance of the evening:
He believed that we had photographed him (why the hell???). He sprinted to me and
wanted to rip the camera out of my hand. Such a thing never happend to me.
- Until today.

His words were of great volume: "Delete the photos immediately or I'll call the cops!"
I didn´t do it, of course;)

It always impresses me when people express themselves so considered and stylish.
He can be lucky that I'm a pacifist.
Instead, I reminded him that he had to return to his important post at the door, because otherwise people could possibly gain entry who are not dressed appropriately.
Conclusion: Unfortunately, no concert for us, but material for a new comedy routine
and a funny evening in a tapas bar.
And I need a new favorite club in Cologne. Suggestions are welcome!
Everybody who´s interested can see the story very soon in my comedy program.
If you come to the theater, you are allowed wear what you want.
But beware: Doorman are not allowed ;)

See you!

Coke Sound Up in Berlin (Festival of Happiness)

Directly after the "Health Media Award" in Cologne, which gave me the chance to do
my first comedy gig in a stadium, I went to Berlin.
Because last weekend Berlin was the stage for Europe´s biggest music festival, the
"Coke Sound Up". fact it was the final event of an entire festival series to celebrate
the "Day of German unity".

A huge stage directly under the "Brandenburg Gate", great bands, 750.000 visitors and
was I sent there to report live! And because the summer had a late comeback, I could
do this even in bright sunshine!

It was so crowded that the "Streets of the 17th June" reminded of the Hyde Park during the "Brian Jones Tribute" concert 1969 (Sorry, as a hippie child I'm into such comparisons;)

With the slogan "Festival of Happiness" rocked the following line-up the capitol city:
Jenix, One Night Only, Jennifer Rostock, Sunrise Avenue, Culcha Candela & Mando Diao.

This gave me not only a lot fun, but also my second interview in Finnish.
With Samu Haber, the lead singer of "Sunrise Avenue".
And once again a bad word came out, but this time by accident. Luckily my interview
partner was not only very sympathetic, but also very humorous.
So: Kiitos haastattelusta, Samu! Ja okein mukava konsserttimatka, Sunrise Avenue!

The article to this very funny interview in which Samu tells me about his way into the
music business, the new album "Out of Style" and the future plans of the band, will you
get very soon in the "Schaumburger Zeitung". – And here of course.

"Health Media Award 2011"

When I arrived in Cologne in the night of the 6th September, my mood was just not
at the peak. The flight from Santorini was 2 hours late, it was cold & I was extremely
tired. Especially because we had a party on my last evening on the island and
celebrated a bit - too long ;)

When I reached the train station Köln-Deutz I was almost half asleep. And when I tried to reach the S-Bahn, which should bring me much closer to my bed, the following happens:

The wonderful escalator was broken and my case had overweight.
Luckily there was this man in the suit who carried it for me - pretty athletic even tough
he didn´t look like this at the first glance.

I thought I was dreaming or hallucinating when he suddenly said to me on the train:
"You're Kati Rausch, right?"
- Wow, that was fast. The movie (which is a small independent production) is not even
finished and somebody already recognizes me on the S-Bahn-train. My grandma might
have been right...

It turns out that this is helpful man in the suit was the organizer of the "Health Media Award" ceremony. An annual gala, in which a media prize is awarded for special achievements in the category of health communication.

On the 5-minute train ride, he told me that my stand-up comedy program ("Rauschzustand") was nominated for an award and that I would receive an official message from the award committee during the next few days.
Since my brain sometimes doesn´t so quickly under acute sleep deprivation & also
because the whole situation was so absurd, I tought it was a joke.

Bt the message came and my comedy stage show is actually nominated. The award
ceremony will take place on the 29th of september in the "RheinEnergie Stadium"
- if someone wants to come by;)

When I look at the thing which some others nominees did, I really don´t know what I
did to deserve it…
"Rauschzustand" is funny, but in comparison…
Maybe, it´s just the karma rewarding me for drinking soo much green tea ;)

Anyway, I'm still very excited - and looking forward to my comedy gig at this event.

Love,
Kati

Santorini

Today we finally arrived at the Greek island group Santorini.
Here is the final stage of the filmshooting for the comedy-movie "Ein reizendes Team"
(A charming team), in which I play "Christina", one of the leading roles.

The trip was quite tiring ... Especially since I had the "luck" to be together with my colleague Lavinia, the only actor in the cast, who had to travel by car and by boat.
- Thank you dear producer ;)

This was necessary, because a road movie sequence of the film required shooting at
some original locations along the way. So we spent the last four days by traveling from
Munich to Athens: via Innsbruck, Remini, Ancona, Patras, and Loutraki… and reached
the harbor Thira today at 4 pm.
I hope that these recordings have become really great. - Especially on the ferry from Ancona to Patras, because for these we got up at 4:10 am ;)

My film-sister Lavinia and me are getting along with each other very well! And I think
this has helped us not only to survive the last 4 days without serious irreversible
demages, but also to have fun.

Now I'm even more happy about my cozy hotel room with the shady balcony (where I'm sitting at the moment).

Tomorrow we´ll have a shooting in Ia, they say, it´s the place where you can watch
the most romantic sunsets on the whole Island. And it feels good to work at same place
again for some days in a row.

Now I´ll devote myself to another round the hotel pool before the conception meeting
for the next shooting days takes place. At 5th of september we´ll shoot last take for me
and I´ll go back to Cologne. By plane of course :)

Love!

Helsinki

Since yesterday I´m in the Finnish capitol city. Helsinki is really beautiful and at the moment it´s even warmer than in Cologne. I´m staying at the house of friends in a
part of the city center called Kruununhaka.
Today I did my first interview in Finnish (with a young writer in front of the "Helsinki Cathedral"). And it worked somehow. He understood me and I understood him
(I hope at least ;) It was really fun. Fortunately, I´m familiar with bad words…
Sorry, dear editorial team… but at least it wasn´t broadcasted live ;)
And: Kiitos, Jorma!
This week we´re gonna travel to Tampere for another interview. Tomorrow I´m free,
then I´m gonna visit this beautiful city and buy the XXL-DVD-box of my favourite
TV-series "Pasila" :)

Paljon terveisiä Helsingistä

With a little help from my friends

Today my new website went online (finally!!!).
Thanks to everybody who helped to realize it !!!
In the first place my unique creative-team of "3hoch3" in Bremen! Thank you Marcus & Sonny!!! Und of course a big thank you to "Webdesign Haas" for the programming my layouts and for the patience with all my special crazy ideas ;)

Special thanks also to the people who shared their technical knowhow with me
(it´s true, I grew up on a hippiebus and a farm…). Thanks my actors colleague Chris,
who taught my all the secrets of "Adobe Photoshop CS5" and to the team of "Networkmedya" from Cologne, who also shared their technique with me (someday I´m gonna have my own macbook…) Thank you, Nadya, Joe & Sash!

A special thank you is also dedicated to the editor of my two new hosting-showreels.
He doesn´t want to be mentioned here with his name, because the cinematic quality
of the footage caused emotional and mental damages to him. Thank you, Felix ;)

Anyway, from now I´m gonna post here to inform you, whenever something interesting happens. – Likely not so very often ;)

Yours
Kati
